Perfect for people who relocate often
I bought these because I move around a lot for work. These boxes are sturdy enough to hold what I’d put in a cardboard box their size, but I can fold these away and reuse them multiple times, unlike cardboard ones that rip and warp over time, especially in the humid climates of the southeast US.

A More Capable Collapsible Crate That Earns Its Storage Space
To be sure, I have been using collapsible storage crates in our home and vehicles for well over a decade. They are one of those products that become useful often enough that I like having several available, even when I do not have a specific task assigned to each one. I usually pay considerably less for this type of crate at a warehouse store, so this three-pack initially seemed expensive. After using them, however, the added capacity, stronger load rating, and included lids bring the value much closer to what the price suggests. Each bin holds 65 liters and is rated to support up to 84 pounds, which gives it more practical range than the smaller crates I normally keep around. The crates open quickly and lock into shape without tools. When collapsed, each one folds down to roughly 2 inches thick, allowing it to slide behind furniture, sit flat in a vehicle, or disappear into a narrow storage space until needed. The reinforced polypropylene construction feels appropriate for groceries, household supplies, camping gear, tools, and the miscellaneous items that seem to multiply whenever a family travels. The lids are what distinguish these from many basic folding crates. They keep contents covered, create a flatter surface for stacking, and make the bins much more useful for long-term storage rather than transportation alone. The side handles are comfortable enough for carrying heavier loads, and the rounded edges keep the crates from feeling rough or awkward in the hands. They are so generally useful that I am sending one with my older daughter when she leaves for college, even though we have not assigned it a particular purpose. It has a small enough footprint when folded to fit behind her dresser, where it can wait until she needs to carry laundry, move groceries, organize dorm supplies, transport books, or pack belongings for a trip home.
