I bought this Vevor 18 in. Gas chainsaw about a month ago . It works great , it cut through the logs with ease . I even had some 24 in. logs that I had no problem with. My older 18 in. saw was giving me me trouble restarting. I cut about 6-7 cord for a wood stove. It works great I would recommend this saw . I am very happy with my purchase.

Incredable saw for the price
I have been processing fire wood for approximately 10 years now, we do about 12 cords a year. I own several Stihl saws along with Poulan, Echo, Craftsman and a Homelite. I purchased the Vevor 52cc saw. On paper the Vevor has 1 less hp than my Stihl MS 271 and weighs 3 lbs more, but when using the saw the weight feels about the same and the power feels equal. I am running an 18″ bar on my Vevor and it rips through just about everything with no problem. Cons of the Vevor: The chain brake; is built into the outer case cover, like a Husqvarna. I dislike this design as it is much harder to clean and more difficult to reassemble. Chain brake handle; does not feel as sturdy as an Echo or Stihl, but it functions fine. Choke lever; is positioned so if you start the saw between your legs, your right thigh will push the choke lever back in. If starting a cold saw this way, you must pay attention that you do not disengage the choke lever. Pro’s of the Vevor: Powerful; no problems cutting up Oak. Price; outstanding, you can literally buy 5 of these saws for the price of one Stihl MS271. Starting: The Vevor uses an “easy start/sprint assist” system, which takes a little bit to get used to as you don’t have to pull the start cord with all of your might, it works extremely well. All in all the Vevor is a very good chainsaw, much better than the price you pay for it. In this world of inflation, the Vevor is a beacon of hope, where your hard earned money will still buy a quality product without causing you to go into debt. I highly recommend the Vevor 52cc chainsaw.
