Makes ice as long as the detector isn’t blocked.
This thing cranks out ice. However….. the box isn’t super well insulated so I get a lot of melt. I also had to create a catch pan and pump out system because this one uses forced water. The box fills halfway and then the next ice push sits on the level detector and it won’t make anymore until it melts down. I’ve been keeping and eye on it and bust the chunks and keep it flowing and then bag it out, you just have to watch it. Overall, super happy with it, I have 300lbs of ice in my freezer for when I need it now.

Great machine!
We love this machine! It makes ice quickly and it doesn’t melt fast. It is a little bit loud when the ice drops but you get used to it. There is a lot of warm air that comes out of the front vent so whatever room you have it in will be a lot warmer than normal. It’s easy to set up but I wish the instructions would explain the control panel a bit more.
