A little wiggly when using the full length, but cuts like a champ
Overall, I am very impressed with this pole saw. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the locking pins pop into their holes when screwing the sections together, before the sections are as snug as they could be. That said, there may be a design reason for that I don’t know. Like if they are screwed together too tight they are more likely to break. The challenge, though no fault of the saw, it is upto 27 foot of pole. Getting it up from flat of the ground to vertical in the air. Luckily, I was working from our deck, so I found it easiest to pick it up flat, go to the railing and rotate it there. If you don’t have a deck, may want someone on a ladder to help get it upright. I did manage to put the bottom of it against a deck rail and walk it upright starting at the far end of the saw. I highly recommend wearing gloves and not touching the pole sections with exposed skin. The sections are fiberglass and my hands felt like I have been handling insulation after I put it together once bare handed. Wore gloves the other times and no issues at all. (fiberglass is fiberglass, not a ding on the saw) Ok, now onto the good. The 2 black blades with the hooks on each end are rock stars. Very sharp, they cut through quickly, and the hooks on each end make it about impossible to pull down too far and slip off your branch. I went through an 8″ branch at the limits of the pole. It took a while, but it went through it. I did some more reasonable sized branches at the full length of the pole and I was surprised how fast it went through them. A couple times it caught me off guard when it went through and the pole went crashing down with the branch. In fact, when one of the branches gave the saw pole went down and the branch got hung a second. I was up on the deck, the end of the pole hit the ground and 4″ diameter branch crashed down on it. I expected it to be all busted, but when I took the branch off it, it was fine. And the big 10″ branch rotated and hung straight

Great Tool - requires a little dexterity
Using this thing at max length is a feat of strength, balance and accuracy, but once you get it where it needs to go, it works great. The fiberglass sections are easy to assemble and disassemble but are quite bendy at 27 feet. The scissors are very sharp and do well cutting branches a good 2″ thick, although the little pull thing all the way at the bottom of the cord is kind of useless when not using the full length pole. Need a nice thick pair of gardening gloves or the cord will take leave a nice indentation on your hand. The saw blades are extremely sharp, and the hooked end is super uselful for not losing your place high up. Went through some decently sized branches in just a few cuts. This was a good purchase.
