The canister works very well. I tested it out for 2 weeks without changing it and it does amazing. It probably could have gone much longer considering the low amount of waste inside the canister. The first one I purchased had very low outflow and they very kindly sent me a replacement for free. The second one had much better outflow but for some reason had air constantly flowing through the intake and out flow. After about 4-5 days, it finally started having a constant flow without any air. If you are looking for a massive amount of water outflow, don’t get your hopes up. This is my first time owning a canister and I was expecting more but after more research, I realized my expectations were wrong. It does exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much VEVOR!!

High efficiency for the price
Excellent filter for my 29 gal aquarium. Keeps water super clear. UV light works wonders for control of algae bloom. Filter is virtually soundless. Self primes for quick restarts after cleaning, which is very easily done. With this filter I probably won’t have to do breakdown clean but once a year and partial water change maybe twice per year. Just add water with normal evaporation. Highly recommended. Comes a nice amount of intake/output tubing, nice length for power cord. I have mine on the floor with no issues or leakage.

Works quietly
This filter may be a little overkill for my aquarium, however it allows me to go longer in-between cleanings on my 10 gallon planted tank. There are many things to appreciate about this pump: 1> Its super quiet! Running uder my desk at high you cannot even hear it. 2> The filter came with lots of various tube attachments so I could arrange and modify the inlets and outlets to suit my covered aquarium. You have lots of choices on set-up! 3>There is extra room in the canister to insert your old media and sponges to jump start the bio growth on the included floss filter and ceramic media. Because I was unfamiliar with the operation, I needed to contact customer service about how to open the filter without spilling water everywhere. This probably should have been mentioned in the manual, but at least customer service got back to me in a few days, and sent a link to a video. Since then I have had no problem cleaning it out. The tubes are clear so junk grows in them and that is unfortunate. I wish I knew how to prevent that; for now I am trying to block the light to them by covering them up with a towel.

I bought this filter as my 1st canister filter and have been thoroughly impressed! I have it on a 55 Gallon Freshwater Community Tank. It keeps my water clear and cuts down on the need for weekly water changes. I am currently doing 2 weeks between changes. I had a packaging issue and customer service got me a new unit out quickly. Top quality cannister, the 5 media baskets make it easy to customize what you need for your particular setup. Im running it on a 75 gallon Central American Cichlid tank. Excellent flow rate and super simple set up. The the siphon makes it really easy to prime and the uv light feature is something the 230 dollar Fluval 407 doesnt even have. I bought some bulk filter floss water polisher roll, just trace out the basket for a custom cut. Also its very quiet when running.

works great for two weeks then when the filter becomes filthy you wont be able to get replacement filters or support you may as well throw it away it becomes a disposable canister filter at $2 a day then buy another because it works great
