175 ft Hose Reel Cart, 2 Wheels
A hose reel cart earns its space when it keeps a long hose off the lawn and winds it back without kinks. This two-wheel model holds 175 ft of 5/8-inch hose or 230 ft of 1/2-inch hose, and the reel turns on a 13.39 in / 340 mm drum. It suits a compact yard, a single lawn, or a patio where the cart is stored against a wall.

The hose is not included. The cart is the frame, reel and wheels. Add your own 5/8-inch or 1/2-inch garden hose, and check the fittings on your tap and nozzle before the first use.
What fits on the reel
The capacity depends on hose diameter, not just length. A 5/8-inch hose takes more room per foot than a 1/2-inch hose, so the same reel holds less of it.
- 5/8-inch hose: up to 175 ft (53.3 m)
- 1/2-inch hose: up to 230 ft (70.1 m)
- Reel diameter: 13.39 in / 340 mm
Leave a little room on the drum. A reel packed to the limit is harder to wind and puts more strain on the frame. If your hose is close to the maximum, go up one size.
How it moves
two 8 in solid wheels and a front frame rest. Tip the handle back to roll it, then set it down on the front bar to park.
Empty, the cart is easy for one person to move around a yard. Once a full hose is wound on, the weight goes up; move the cart before you pull the hose out rather than dragging a loaded reel sideways.
Frame, wheels and fittings
The frame is high-strength steel frame with a rust-resistant finish. The wheels are 8 in solid wheels, which roll over grass, gravel paths and driveway seams without going flat. The connection is brass on the four-wheel models, and the reel is driven by a non-slip winding handle.
The box includes a bearing seat, PTFE tape, cotter pins, screws, washers and lock nuts.
Setting it up
- Assemble the frame on a flat surface and leave the screws loose until the frame is square.
- Tighten the screws evenly, then fit the wheels and check that the reel turns freely.
- Connect the leader hose to the reel inlet and the tap. Wrap the thread with PTFE tape if the joint drips.
- Wind the hose on with light tension, keeping the coils even across the drum.
- Open the tap before you pull the hose out, and drain the hose before storing the cart for winter.
Two wheels or four
The two-wheel cart is the lighter option. It tips back onto its wheels and rests on a front bar when parked, which suits a small yard and a shed wall. The four-wheel cart stays upright on its own and carries a larger reel, a basket and a longer hose. For a big lawn, the four-wheel model is easier to move while the hose is loaded.
Ordering
One cart, wholesale pricing. The listed price is our wholesale rate for one cart. There is no minimum order quantity and no separate tier price, so a single cart and a small batch cost the same per cart.
