Great value
For the price these work great. Perfect for a DIY project to get rid of sponge in your floor joist. It wont solve your drainage problem but it can patch a beam until you can fix it proper.

Never sit a porch post on concrete.
We had to cut the bottom of our 6×6 cedar post off. The contractor sit the porch post on the concrete porch, when it rained the cedar post sucked the water up. Causing the bottom of the post to rot. With this jack we were able to jack the post up enough to cut the rot off and set the post on a bracket to prevent the post from sitting on wet concrete.

Post replacing
Needed to lift up my porch roof to replace the rotted support beams. Yes there’s other ways of doing it but this is the safest. Very sturdy construction
