14 ft Inflatable Movie Screen

The upgraded 14 ft screen keeps the compact footprint of the 14 ft frame but adds a wider 1.55 m base, a wrinkle-resistant Oxford screen and a low-noise fan. The white panel measures 2520 x 1330 mm, and the whole set weighs 11.5 lb. It packs into the included storage bag with the ropes, stakes and repair kit.

How big is the 14 ft screen?

The 14 ft number describes the overall inflatable frame, not the white viewing area. The white panel measures 2520 x 1330 mm. The assembled frame is 11.2 x 5.1 x 8.5 ft (3400 x 1550 x 2600 mm). Measure both the width and the height of your space, and leave room behind the screen for the blower and any rear-projection projector.

Projector and throw distance

The projector is not included. A larger screen spreads the same projector light over more area, so a projector that looks bright on a living-room wall can look dim on a screen this size. Check the projector’s brightness and throw ratio against the screen width, and choose a position that fills the white area without keystone distortion. Front and rear projection are both supported; rear projection needs clear space behind the screen and the projector’s rear-projection mode.

Setup and anchoring

Connect the low-noise fan to the frame and let it inflate. Keep the fan running for the whole show, place it behind the screen, and keep its intake clear. Push the ground stakes into the grass and tie the ropes to the wide base before the audience arrives.

Use level ground: grass or a flat floor, with the frame clear of trees, fences and overhead wires.
Stake and rope it: the base, stakes and ropes work together; do not rely on the blower weight.
Watch the weather: do not use it in rain, lightning or strong wind. Deflate and take it down if conditions change.
Keep the air path clear: do not cover the blower or block its intake, and keep cords out of walkways.
